Changing jobs and recruiting Topic

Hi all,
Does anyone know if you keep your scouting/recruiting information after you change jobs? Example: I have a player scouted to level 4 and mark that player Green. If I accept a new job, will I still have that player scouted to level 4 and green? Or are all of my scouting/recruiting efforts reset to my new job's scouting/recruiting info? I guess a better way to ask it would be, does the scouting stay with the coach or the school?
Thanks

I believe that scouting info stays with the school! Also a fraction of your scouting efforts from RS1 are kept for whoever fills the spot

That's correct. You have to start over with the new school.

But since you know the guy you're targeting, just write down his state and division level on paper (maybe even his attributes if you want), and at the new school, just use the FSS to find him. You don't have to scout him to level 4 because you already know his talent level.

Thanks guys! Doesn't seem too realistic... But I'll accept it! And yeah I guess I can just write down who I want to target.

Recruiting is another area that random probability would work nicely. Just think of a recruit's interest following a Coach to a new school because of job change, or a walk on off of a Coaches recruiting list (an unsigned guy that had AP's applied to him during recruiting). That is only two, there are other random events that could happen.

On that note, let me ask the group. Got an email from a kid in RS2 at Holy Cross, that I had withdrawn a scholarship from. The email said that "he had thought about his situation, and would be open to an offer again". I didn't offer, but that has to be a new thing in 3.0. In the past they got mad if you withdrew an offer and no amount of effort could change things.

I have a zone team that I try not to carry 12 guys. I try to get ineligibles, walk ons, and I redshirt each season. But this most recent recruiting season, I had 11 slots filled and I seen I player I was interested in that was a late signer, and led by a fellow D2 human.

I put enough effort in an I evened things up, very high, very high. And then i changed my mind. I didn't want to sign him, so I rescinded the offer, in favor of a walk on.

then I played around a little. I offered the scholarship again, and was still in the picture, but I was behind at low. I added more effort and got up to moderate when he signed with the other coach. If I had maybe $1000 more, I think I could've got back in signing range.
