Does anybody remember what cycle the free agents drop their demands from a two year contract to a one year contract? I think it is some time near the middle of spring training, but I am not positive.

Copied this verbatim, it's old MikeT23 advice:

"Sign players after the 8th ST game during the 3 PM cycle. Demands are reduced to 1 season AND, more importantly, that's the last cycle before they take a ratings hit."
