Is there a limit on the number of ineligible players I can have on a roster? Also, If I have an ineligible player or players can I still redshirt a player or is there a minimum roster size that I need to keep above?

I'm rebuilding a D- D1 school so I'm not too worried about how it will impact me in the W/L column next season, just trying to improve the roster for a few years down the line.

Yup you can definitely have a ANQ and a redshirt on your squad! I utilized that ability when I started my rebuild. I’m not sure how many ANQs you are allowed to have though.
