I have accomplished one of my HD goals after moving from Hawaii to UNLV last night in IBA. (By the way, Hawaii is really in good shape if anyone wants to give it a shot).

I have now coached in all 50 states, plus DC and Puerto Rico.

The other thing I would like to accomplish at some point is to win a title with the zone defense, and also to win a title with a non Big 6, non Mid Major. Don't see either of those happening for now because I am not running zone anywhere and not coaching a smaller D1 team.

UNLV Zonin' Rebels!

Congrats on the achievement, that is very impmressive!

LOL - Thanks. Yeah - I used to like UNLV when I was a kid in the 70s and Jerry Tarkanian was the coach. Loved the fast paced play. I may have to switch to zone at UConn next year. I have 6 openings and 2 more on the Likely going list.

Someone here once mentioned trying to win a title with a team of only guys named John.

In case you needed a new goal. :)

Yeah - that would be a tough one LOL

Congrats chapelhillne, great accomplishment. Sort of reminds me of the runners, who have run marathons in all 50 states. Actually, having been a runner most of my life, I'd have to give the nod to the runners in terms of difficulty. LOL... Nevertheless, still very impressive.

Yeah - I think I would give them that nod as well LOL. There were a few in there that I only stayed at for one year.

A team in every state? Holy crap! You MUST have plenty of one and done teams.

I too had been a big fan of the Zonin Rebels(haha) since I was a kid. Fer real. I believe it was the '91 team that went all the way with Anderson Hunt, Stacey Augmon, George Ackles, Larry Johnson, and one other dude. And of course Tark. I was able to pick up the Rebels in Crum last season. I think the coach before me had them playing triangle and man. That gave me a good laugh.
