If a kid is listed as out for "x" number of games, my understanding is they're not practicing during that time (which is why they will sometimes lose points in rating categories while recovering)...the question -- if I have a player currently injured, is it better to shove all his practice minutes into study hall in the hope of lifting his GPA for a spell so that I can possibly allocate additional minutes to practice once he's recovered and eligible to play?

Not sure why it never occurred to me in the past to ask/try this...

Okay, so midterms just came out and this is a definite NO...

Admittedly, I waited a couple days before shifting everything, but the kid is carrying a 2.7 at midterms, so shifting all his minutes over to study hall definitely did NOT help (and he lost 5 points while zero'd out in practice categories)

Which leads me now to wonder if study hall even runs during player injuries or if it just loops over the whole practice plan thing and freezes the GPA in time for whatever it was prior to the injury.
