Player 1

Athleticism: 90 (Orange)
Speed: 11 (Orange)
Defense: 85 (Black)
Shot block: 74 (Orange)

Player 2

Athleticism: 65 (Blue)
Speed: 43 (Black)
Defense: 46 (Blue)
Shot block: 32 (Black)

On paper, I'm sure it's Player 1, but assuming Player 2's defense gets 20, does his speed make him at least warrant consideration?

assuming the RB is high, player 1 i would take as a backup C on a D1 title contender, a starter on most D1 teams. to me, player 2 isn't really D1 quality...maybe a backup SF/PF after a redshirt season on a rebuilding team.

IMO they are not even close.

Id go with Player 1 every time if im looking for a Center. Reason being is Player 1 can play D now where Player 2 will catch up to player 1 in 2 seasons likely depending on WE. Spd isnt as important to me for centers.

If player 2 had the Shot blocking ability of player 1 id sign them both.

Okay, those were my thoughts as well. Just wanted to see if the speed did anything. And anyway, assuming a hard 20 growth even when blue is risky.
