I've never actually done it before, but do you get the benefit of having a very good preference for 2 defenses if you run a zone or man to man/press?

I believe you get "good" on both, but others should share their experiences.

Good for both. The value is evenly split I think, unless you don’t always run a combo, and sometimes just go one or the other.

All of the above is accurate. I prefer to run one defense just to have that very good tag in recruiting. Although at a lower prestige i did run zone press to get a few extra players that i hit that good preference on.

It seems that more coaches use M2M rather than zone or press so i feel like the good preference with those 2 defenses are useful when recruiting.

I ended up taking a 2nd team out of boredom and needing something to do during my offseason at Kansas, so basically it will be a rebuilding job after this year and focusing on building up my preferences. Tough call if it's better to have 2 goods or 1 very good. Guess it depends on the players you're targeting.
