I underestimated the effect of prestige, for sure. I also gambled that the A+ wouldn’t go all in.

The rebuild preference did keep me in it, but it didn’t mitigate 2 levels of prestige for what was essentially equal effort. Even a stand alone start and extra minutes couldn’t pull me close to even.

I agree with FD, I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about prestige being significantly weakened. It’s still the dominating factor, along with number of scholarships.

I thought it would've been a little closer considering team B gave him a start and 25 minutes.I initially was going to say 58-42, but then saw everyone thinking B had the advantage, so that swayed my guess and went with 54-46.

It was mentioned in Beta that the value of prestige had not changed. This was towards the end of testing.

i have always valued a start equal to about 2 HV's and 25 minutes about the same. when you factor everything in, the lower prestige team really had less than 10% more effort*.

I would be very surprised if it only equaled 4 HV's, altogether.

Recruit " Yeah coach, I'm not worried about not starting or heck even playing for that matter. Just make those 4 extra visits, maybe bring over some home baked goods and that will take care of everything".

be surprised. Actually, it's closer to 5 than 4 but it isn't more than 5.
