A few questions about private camps. Can I pick distance or is it automatically 500 miles? Does everyone within those 500 miles come or only some of those guys? Do you guys like the method over assistant search? How many people would I need to scout for me to get all the scouts in that area?

I used it more in D2 than i do in D1.

I prefer ast search over camps because i hate wasting money on turd d2/d3 caliber recruits. Plus ast search can be used on one position of need. You cant do a camp with 200 guards. If i need guards and only guards why wast money on bigs?

Only some? Is it just random who comes? What if you host multiple?

You can only host one camp. And not every player in the area comes to your camp. It's basically an invitation to players nearby, to come check out your school. So make sure you choose the correct amount of players that you want to attend, you don't get a second chance. You actually select the amount of players to attend. So if you can choose between 50 and 200, of course ALL players aren't coming. Because you may only choose to invite 50. (And yes it's random regarding "who" shows up).

I agree that if you only need 1 position, assistant is the way to go, between the two. But if you need multiple positions, the camp is half the price of the assistant, overall. Because you get two scouting levels.

The only way to find ALL the recruits is the FSS. And that's state by state of course.

If there are fewer than the number you invite who are <500 miles away from you , then all of them come, and you only pay for the number who actually come (i.e., if you invite 200, but only 177 are within 500 miles, then you only pay for 177).
