Recruiting at a New Program Topic

I'm afraid I already know the answer to this but is there any way to release a scholarship from a player a sim recruited in the first cycle before I switched jobs? I have 2 openings and one's already filled by a scrub now. If not, that seems like a reasonable option.

On a separate note I've only played DIII since the update and just jumped to DII. I only recruited DI players in DIII and mostly only ever used attention points. Any DII recruiting pointers would be greatly appreciated.

On a separate separate note I just added a team in a new world for the first time since the update and I don't see why any new coach sticks around beyond 1 season. I basically wasted a season before I can even start to play. I know it's been discussed to death but this is the first time I've actually seen it in action. Not trying to start a whole debate again, just my 2 cents.

Unfortunately, you are stuck with the Sim-signed players... and, to make matters worse, if you come in at session 2 I believe the session 1 signees are considered "yours" when the game shifts to the new season, meaning that if you cut them you only get half the resources to refill the slot. (someone can correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think I recall that being the case when I did a job change last...)

I always add this, and I'm sure CS doesn't like it.... but when the season begins, you can send in a ticket and ask them to remove your name from the sim signed recruits that sign in RS1 before you arrived as the coach of the team. And they do it every time.

It doesn't help you in that initial season. But it allows you to cut them in RS2 of the initial season (or any other time in the players career) and you'll get full resources for the cut player. I do it every time that I take over a new team.

Thanks. That'll help a little at least.
