How to determine ML Service Time Topic

All -

I have recently traded for a few players that I want to keep in the minors until I can "save" a year of arb service.  Meaning, I know the standard is to leave your prospects down until after 25 games, then promote them, but how do you determine the correct amount to keep them down if they are a pitcher, or a bench warmer?

Anyone care to give me a heads up how many games I should hold the following players down in the minors:

A - .095 ml service time
B - 2.008 ml service time
C - .086 ml service time

Thanks in advance for any help

The number before the decimal is years.

The three digits after the decimal count as days.

I'm not doing basic arithmetic for you.

Not sure how being a pitcher or bench warmer affects anything.  Days on the ML roster are days on the ML roster.

A major league season is 172 days.  Optional assignments in the minors that last less than 20 days could as ML service time.

Where do I find this service time?

Player card.  Mouse over the "ML Service" field.

Piggy backing off this old thread, does anyone know the cutoff for Major League days before it counts as a ML year? I have a guy with .097 ML service time.

Thanks,
