Recruiting Period 1 Last Cycle Topic

Still getting the hang of recruiting. D2 school battling a D1 sim. I knocked sim down to moderate with me where it stayed for a day or so of cycles. The very last cycle of period 1 he got bumped to high and signed. Recruit was a End of Period 1 recruit. Do moderates sign? Or did I just get unlucky and the last cycle happened to be where sim got a slight advantage on me a bumped it to high which qualified for signing by the end of period 1? Maybe sim was smart enough to spend last cycle and pull the rug out from under me.

Nope, Moderates never sign.

I wasn't clear of what you were saying exactly, but if you're recruiting a D-1 player, and you're D-2, then they won't sign until the 2nd recruiting period, which is after the NT and jobs.

Sorry for the confusion. For about a day now I was moderate and so was the d1 sim. Everyone else was very low. Figured I would just move to high or very high in period 2. However, the d1 sim moved from moderate to high at the very last cycle of period 1 and then subsequently signed since the recruit was "end of period 1". Fun times.

Gotta knock the sims down to low or very low.

Yeah. Got it down to low a couple times but it was a particularly pesky sim.

You have to knock them to very low. Not just low. I've pushed sims down to low before, and they still continue to push for the recruit.

Sims generally but 25ish AP in a period and drop HV's in batches of 3. You can expect them to fight back doing this.
