I'm getting prepared to switch to another team after the NT this year. The team I'm switching to has signed 4 guys this year. One of which is playable and the other are terrible. Is it true I can't cut these guys and receive cash or AP for them?

You can cut them and still get AP and $$$ for them,

Problem is in D-2 or D-3 coaches already have recruiting actions on some of the better players, so you're starting at a disadvantage.

If they were signed in Session 1 of this season and you?re moving into the team in Session 2, you will not be able to cut any of the Session 1 signings in Session 2. You?re stuck with them for a season.

Do I get recruit money for the other openings or will I have none because he used by Sim? Do I get scouting money?

So the SIM players that were signed before this season, you can still cut them and get extra APs and $$$ for them.

The one's that were signed this season, you have to wait until the end of next season.

The current seniors and the walk ons, yes you should get money for those.

Yes, depending on the number of seniors and walk ons that team has. It will tell you when you apply to a job how many open scholarships there are.

Sportsbulls, what you need to do, when you arrive at the school, if that team has signed players in RS1, your stuck with them for this season. And it will show your name as the one who recruited them.

But once the season begins, send a ticket to CS. Tell them you just took over that team. And give them the names of the players that sim signed in RS1 that have your name. They will release your name from those recruits. So when you cut them at the end of the season (or later on in their career), you will receive the resources for them.

If you cut them while they still have your name on them, you will not receive the resources. Someone told me this, and i've done it every time I take over a new school. And CS has no problem taking care of that for you. But you have to wait until your season begins unfortunately. They won't do it immediately, because those recruits aren't actually on your team until the season starts
