I would go with the defender - but I am biased in favor of defense

If you dont go with the defender, opponents may be able to pound the ball inside against your starting unit

I don't feel like this is a toss-up. Petrie is just a better player all around.

Petrie is the better player. A change isn’t going to have a huge impact, but getting Petrie 4-5 more minutes per game as the starter probably improves your team a little.

I feel it is a toss up depending on the matchup. Zone gives up a lot of rebounds. And if he plays a strong rebounding team that has two 90s REB bigs and a SF that can rebound as well, it would make me consider Reid.

The rebounding difference is minuscule at this point, if a difference even exists. On the year, Reid’s rebounds per 40 minutes is 11.4. Petrie is at 10.8. And Petrie is finishing the season with much more growth in the straight rebounding attribute, so right now, I think it’s a tossup as far as rebounding goes. And Petrie is by far the better defender.

The 5 guys from my D-1 championship team, that played PF and C, their rebounding ratings were, 81,77,73,63 and 56.

Rebounding tends to be random at times in this game. Also Petrie's athleticism covers some ground of the rebounding deficit, based on that information,
I would say it's more like about a 10 rating point advantage. Athleticism is important for other parts of the game and Petrie is a better defender. If you can't stop the other team from scoring, having good rebounding on the defensive end won't make much of a difference. Petrie also has a B- at the free throw line compared to Reid's C

Im not arguing who is the better player. I just don't think it's a slam dunk as some of you do

Sorry about the loss, but keep in mind, when you miss more shots, the other team will have a rebounding advantage.

Rebounding ratings appeared to be close to even on paper, as mentioned, rebounding can be random sometimes.

Seattle went 17-18 from the line with free throw ratings at B B- C+ C C and C-. On average they would've went 13-18 from the line. You didn't benefit from much luck there.

To show you the randomness of this game at times, you outscored Seattle by 9 points. With very little change, they came back and outscored you by 20. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, does it?
