Hey guys, I have an abundance of bigs on my team and I'd like to redshirt one. Unfortunately, a lot of them are seniors and on the draft big board (top 50). I was wondering if anyone has ever redshirted a senior who is on the draft big board and if they stayed?

I'm sure they stay sometimes, but oftentimes go pro, but I wanted to see if anyone has dealt with this before and if the data leans one way or another

At least the good part of red shirting a senior on the big draft board is that with the WE drop, his ratings won't improve or will drop as well. But he's probably treated as any other senior. If he gets drafted he's gone, but if he stays, he'll be there next season.

There is no "likely going" "on the fence" or "likely staying" with seniors, it's just listed as graduating, so no idea on what the odds are.

It seems like he would get mad and quit the team at the end of the season, but that's just my guess.

Does anyone have experience with this? I'm toying around with doing it to a senior who is not draft bound, but if anyone has done this and the player RS'd quit I'd be interested to hear. I'm only considering this since I have a ton of guys in the same senior class as him.

Have done it with players not on draft board and players stay on team.

If you redshirt a senior his work ethic will probably drop drastically, but he won't quit. If he is on the big board I'd guess he could go ee, but never tried it myself.

Any senior listed as graduating with another year of eligibility will stick around. This includes redshirts and ineleigibles who qualify for a 5th year
