Need help figuring out the triangle. Have had great San Diego State teams in Rupp fall short of expectations year after year in the NT.

What do I need to do differently with my team to succeed in the NT in the future?

my primary quick reaction to that team is the lack of inside scoring - that is by no means fatal, but I would be working toward developing a big who is more of a scoring threat - in general and in the triangle

It was one of my more perimeter oriented squads. However they lost to a press team which my perimeter based squads usually eat up.

Have had the dominant big man several times for the triangle but they never play up to par in the triangle for me.

Guess I just need to know how to push this team over the mountain after so many missed opportunities. Should I focus more on passing? Low Post? Ball handling? Speed? Only guys who have both high Perimeter and LP regardless of athleticism or speed? Shorten the bench to 8-10 man rotations? Three guards two centers? Traditional looking lineup?

I am becoming convinced this team is jinxed or cursed... It is confession time if you have cast a jinx or curse on my Aztecs team..

I would have started poulin and had him have the highest distro.

In general, I like to have 2-3 scorers and then the rest of the players being elite defenders and, in a perfect world, high passing.

a stud pg is super helpful as well

Poulin had the highest distribution. Did consider starting him but thought I needed a rebounder and scorer off the bench. Had him backing up the SF and PF spots.

Maybe starting him was the right thing and would have made the difference. That's something for me to think about Trentonjoe .
