A: Coaching is a huge factor in the DITR process. The 0% pitcher is interesting, we might be able to do something with that.

I'll freely admit that I wasn't aware of this (and didn't recall it being mentioned on a dev chat). Usually the discussion on DITR revolves around the usual criteria: OVR between 45-65, C with high AS, RP with high VEL, and so on and so on. (Not going through it all...)

So do coach attributes affect probability of getting DITR? If so - any evidence on what attributes? (MiLB coach patience? MiLB coach core skills? ML bench coach patience? others?) A VERY brief assessment of my league doesn't show any immediate correlation... but obviously i'd need more data across multiple leagues... thoughts?

I doubt coaching has any correlation to the number of ditr players you get or the ones that get chosen. Pretty sure that the max each team can have Is three per season.

I think it might be a slotting system with many factors at play (i.e. standard distribution of ages, current ratings, potential ratings, etc.).
