The 1-2A-2B rotation is the problem. Sparky will not bring in the next scheduled starter, even if he's at 100%, if he has ANY other option available to him.

Since your closer was set to be available in any inning...that's who gets brought in.

Yep. Long B is sort of a last resort anyway. As someone who extensively uses the SP in relief option, I can confirm they are basically only used when no one else is available.

I've got a Long A and a Long B in one league, which almost never happens. The Long B gets used in more extreme situations (winning or losing) than the A, and the net result has been more work for the Long B, at least on my team.
