Conference Schedules Topic

How do conference schedules work? Is it the same order every year but home and away is swapped? Or is it generated differently?

depends on what place you finish in each division

For teams in the other division the home sites are alternated every season. The order you play the games is determined by the previous seasons placement in the standings.

Since OP will be placing first every season, does that mean that mean his conference schedule will be pretty much the same every season?

Do you guys know the templates then? Depending on standings.

You can figure it out for yourself.

Go into post season tab under conference bracket and pull last seasons bracket to get all the seeds then compare that with this seasons schedule.

I don't know what folks are talking about, and maybe it was true at one point, but pretty much everything said so far is false. Schedules are on a two year rotation, where the schedule in even years is the exact same as the prior odd year season, in the exact same weeks, but with the home/away swapped. After the two years are up schedules change and you play a different set of home/away teams in the other division, and in different weeks. As far as I can tell, this appears to be random, and doesn't have anything to do with prior season results.

Interesting, so which is it?

If someone can explain a relationship between the redo of the conference schedule every two years and prior season's results, I'd be most intrigued to learn how they are related.
