I think one move that would make legit everyone happy would be eliminating a few days from the schedule. WiS would make more money, we’d get to play more.

References below are to 2x worlds. I don’t know the 1x worlds schedules.

The first day to cut is the obvious one. The day in between the national championship and coaching start is just irratating and doesn’t make sense. It’s a wasted day and I haven’t heard a single person like it.

My other propositions for days you can eliminate are less universally agreed on, but I still think they should be considered.

My first controversial proposition is the full day between exhibition games is annoying and doesn’t make sense. Putting the games as 2 in a day, hence the 2x a day per world name, makes more sense. This would eliminate half a day per season.

The second controversial fix would be cutting out the full day between the F4 and the NC. I don’t think it’s necessary and that would eliminate a half day.

That’s two days less on the schedule and a lot more fun! Plus, Seble and WiS make more than 7% of what they do now.

If you feel like you want this change, please submit a ticket to Seble that you stand for this and it benefits him as well. That’s the only way to create change! Thanks!

We appreciate your attempt. Really. But this has been discussed a gazillion times. I like your ideas in theory. As do many many other coaches. But we've been screaming this for years. (And years before I was around too). But it's falling on deaf ears.

The response you will get most often to this I think, is the same one I will give now (and i've given it to you in sitemails too!)

It doesn't fix the issue of down time. Or boredom. Or any other flaw we have in this game. But you have the ability at your fingertips, to address those issues. You want to play more more more? Well do it. There's 9 other worlds waiting for you to play more more more. Things get tinkered with here every couple of real life years, and it gives hope. Only to fall back into silence mode. You gotta think, there's been coaches playing this game since the early 2000s. Approaching 20 years of playing! These ideas have been kicked around numerous times, and the only fix we have, is by putting a bandaid on it. And that's getting additional team(s).

The problem is, we have ambitious, intelligent, and goal oriented people that PLAY this game, and we want better. But at the moment, it doesn't appear to be that same attitude at headquarters. The Sportshub changeover appeared to be the most amazing thing ever for this site. And I'm sure that some of us were very hopeful for change.

But we just got another bandaid instead. Stay ambitious. But don't hold your breathe. A good start would be a simple response from CS to threads like this. They gotta start somewhere.

That's sad, but true. D2 2x super-conference coming this June, right top?
