When setting a pitcher to left handed specialist, does the sim go to that matchup frequently? I've rarely used it. If the sim does go to the matchup, does he stay in the game if his pitch target is set to 20 pitches regardless if the next batter is a right hander?

Long time ago, everyone kind of came to the conclusion that the Specialist designations don't work. Essentially, the LH or RH Specialist will only come into the game if there's a very highly rated same-handed batter up, but then he stays in to face more batters till he hits his limit.

So, he's underused, but when he does come in, he gets pounded.

So we stopped using the Specialist settings.
