Does anyone else feel as if reserving a team should be done differently for new and returning coaches? I just think it might be frustrating if you’re looking at a team you can’t move to until the job switch period, but any returning coach can come in and grab them? Or new coaches can take over teams that were ran by longtime coaches but were left open for 1 year. Maybe just a reserve a team option but you can’t pick until the season starts. You could look and see what openings there are still but not pick a team.

My personal take is if you reserve a team you should be able to do the 2nd recruiting session. How that works isnt so easy since the available season isnt deducted until after the 2nd recruiting session but I am sure something can be done about that. If I want to reserve, I usually wait until the job posting period opens and post for it, Since I dont qualify for "elite" jobs I usually can get it
