Noticed earlier that one of my players had a misspelled name. Anyone ever seen this before?

No name is ever misspelled if that's the way it shows on his birth certificate.

There are a few like that, but whoever first put Francisco in the database screwed everything up for all time.

The Asian names are mostly nonsensical, except for the Japanese.

Apparently Martin is a name which is universal to every language and culture.

And there are waaaaaay too many guys named Banana.


I suppose if anyone has a guy named Banana Francicso they won a lottery of some kind.

And all these guys come from Washingtion CH, OH.

I reported Francicso to WIS a while back and they said they changed it for new births from that point on.

To the contrary, there can never be too many players named Banana. I once had 3 that were Low A teammates.
