I got caught playing shorthanded. Next scheduled starter was used in the previous game and is fatigued. One day remaining in the season. How do I get him out without losing his availability?

He will need to start the game. Set him as Tandem 1A, and set another of your starters as Tandem 1B. Then set his target/max pitch counts at 40, and call bullpen at 5.

Move all of your other starters to the bullpen or rest.

You won't even have to move your next SP into the SP1 slot if it's the last game of the season. The guy you actually want to start the game should be installed as Setup B, and all other bullpen pitchers should be set as Setup A, Mopup, or Closer A/B.

So setup B has priority over LRA/B in that spot?

I'm not sure-- that's why I suggested not using any LR's. GoldieGamma used him at LRB and it worked just fine.

Just used this in one of my leagues. Did not clinch the Wild Card till game 160. Had my SP1 ready to go in case I needed to win game 161. Now he'll be ready for round 1.
