What are the best settings for the boxes? How many runs and in what inning?
DEFENSIVE SUBS AND REST
Use defensive subs if winning by ______ or more runs in the _______ inning or later.
These settings dictate if and when defensive replacements should enter the game. The Defensive Hierarchy is used whenever the chosen conditions are met.
Use Player Rest if winning by _______ or more runs in the _______ inning or later.
These settings dictate if and when starting position players should be taken out of the game to rest. The Player Rest Hierarchy is used whenever the chosen conditions are met.
Use Player Rest if losing by _______ or more runs in the _______ inning or later.
These settings dictate if and when starting position players should be taken out of the game to rest. The Player Rest Hierarchy is used whenever the chosen conditions are met.
Because I have a very defensive team and a good bench I have defensive subs if winning by 2 or more in the 8th inning or later (keeps my starters fresher)
Player rest if winning by 6 or more in the 7th or later. (don't want to be up by just a few and have my subs blow it)
Play rest if losing by 4 or more in the 7th or later (My team doesn't generate a lot of offence. 4 or more and I'm out of it).
As BP mentioned, all depends on how offensive or defensive oriented your team is.
