I had a guy with a just above a 2.0 gpa so I bumped him up to six sh hours, and he just failed his finals now I don't have him for the post season.

six minutes has never been enough to be safe with a guy who is at 2.0

I rarely used practice minutes for players beyond their freshman season

100% guarantee you they have not changed anything about GPA/study hall.

Look at the mountain of evidence that seble is too busy to improve the game code. Why, if he had time to make a change, would he make a change that he didn't even tell the players about? People in multiple games on this site are constantly begging for updates. If he updates anything, he's gonna tell us.

Do you seriously think the guy had his new company buy WIS just so he could make little silent tweaks and screw with us? Come on.
I would. There's no way I would endure all the wailing and gashing of teeth over such a miniscule, barely noticable tweak in practice settings. I'd just do it, go on about life and let people adjust.

I've also noticed players with decent to good work ethics losing skill points with low or 0 practice minute settings. This never used to happen to me. Again, it's a minor tweak that doesn't impact game play or gameplanning at all but if you announced you were going to do it, people would absolutely lose thier minds.
I think you're missing the point.

What would be the purpose of taking time to make a change that you didn't want to tell the users about? When he clearly doesn't have enough time to do all the things he wants to do with the various games on the site?

This is a revelation to me. I typically put 8-10 minutes in SH for freshmen and then decrease by 2-3 every season after. Maybe I'm spending too many minutes on the books.

Of course, I've never had a player go ineligible, and all my players are typically above a 3.0. That does seem a bit excessive.

I do something similar. And i get yelled at by everyone here for doing so. But i don't ever want to lose a player to grades. I have dialed back a little bit. But i still am cautious with freshman
