Cap 200
Format Alternate E format (162g, 16 teams, 4 playoff berths, inter-league play, balanced) No DH yes ww, yes trades yes aa aaa.
Use the chart below to select a franchise and then sign up for that franchise to play throughout the progression.
You can only sign up for the 30 franchises that are currently in existence. The chart will indicate what teams are historically part of your franchise, you can select players from all of those teams. NY Yankees were once the NY Highlanders.Just because two teams use the Braves as a team name does not mean they are part of the Atlanta Braves Franchise (Use the chart.) If there is a dispute about teams being in the same franchise we will use the chart to resolve them unless you can document that the chart is inaccurate.
Each season owners must switch franchises. We will have a sign up each season, but each owner cannot repeat franchises. Sign ups will be first come first serve. We will use this forum to keep up with who has been in what franchise throughout the franchise progression.
Keeping the cap at 200m will help level the playing field between franchises who have an advantage (NY Yankees, Boston Red Sox, etc)
Each season each owner will receive points according to their ranking based on W-L record. The owner of the team with the best w/l record will receive 1 point, The second owner will receive 2 points, etc. After sixteen seasons the owner with the least amount of points wins. Owners who join after the first season will be able to judge how they have done by comparing their score to the season that corresponds to the number of seasons they participated in. If you only play five seasons, you can compare your score to the teams who played the first five seasons.

The first season franchise selection is on a first come first serve basis. In following seasons the selection of franchises will precede from the owner with the lowest w/l record to the owner with the highest w/l record.

They can't. That is why the winners of one season are the last to select in the next season and the losers get to choose their franchises first in the next season.

The more seasons we play the truer picture we have of who can manage. I'm not trying to decide which is the best franchise, i'm trying to determine who can manage what they have the best.
