Also, D-Day Normandy invasion 75 years ago today [edit: tomorrow, the 6th of course].

Gene, curious how do you know/what’s the relation to SSG Gire? I was in the same battalion in Germany as him and PFC Mahr and was deployed to Afghanistan the same time as their company. I was in a different company in the battalion, but I definitely remember when we found out about them.
