i am wondering if anyone has seen this on their guys before. i have a guy who is behaving pretty strange and im wondering if there is something wrong with him.
- he was 5 on the draft board to start the year, with a bunch of growth left. dropped to 4 over like 10 practices. 2 practices later, dropped to 12 - there is roughly a 0.01% chance this would have happened organically, im damn near positive it can't be explained by 'well he was like, in a virtual 9 way tie and just happened to take the dive all at once'.
- then i noticed his per was +6 but showed +5. it fixed itself the next day without him growing more. but now his reb is +6 but shows +5. i am pretty sure these numbers show the growth based on displayed values, not based on rounding etc.
i don't know if there is some weird logic where players seemingly randomly get evaluated by a different formula, like he was evaluated as a sf but now is as a pf or sg, or something along those lines. i can't remember ever seeing a jump on the board that didn't make sense to me. i can believe this player is on the fence about being evaluated as a sg, sf, or pf.
i feel like i did have a player in the past who showed the wrong math on his growth but im not sure. i checked some other players and didn't notice it, but maybe its common now - was wondering if other folks have the same. i don't think its related, but he's also doing weird in game performance wise, like just took 3 3s out of 14 shots on a +2. ive had lots of players perform strangely so i suspect that part is nothing but it does strike me that this guy makes little sense to me in several regards...
