Last recruiting cycle in Tark, I couldn't figure out why UCLA was signing players even though they didn't have any roster openings... I had totally forgotten that EEs are a thing aaaaaand they create roster openings.

Yeah, I figured it out. I never noticed one senior was a non-qualifier. Simmy recruited that guy and I never noticed. I have never recruited a non-qualifier.

I'm actually pleased - team will be loaded next season returning 11/12.

Haha. I honestly thought this was a sarcastic thread. I just assumed you knew. Based off your experience, even if you haven't recruited one yourself, I'm SURE you've seen players that say "5th/Sr". Probably 100 times. So i just assumed you knew. Sorry man

yes I’ve obviously seen the fifth year senior a few times but I’ve never had one in my own team and never recruited a non-qualifier before.

It’s just more difficult to notice during their first senior year without checking their history.

One thing is for sure I will never miss it again.

First year NQ players should be asterisked. We should be able to see this info at a glance without having to dig through profiles one by one.

I kinda agree with this. It does weird things to the eyes. Like if a player has had 3 ineligibles on his roster that have advanced to later years of their career, i look at the teams IQs and think.... "does this coach not practice his sets? He's got 3 B- Jrs".
