So this is probably an obscure thing, but I am curious if anyone has come across a similar scenario during a previous season.

There are a lot of teams who obviously live at the free throw line, but there tends to be a large gap between the high end and low end to the amount of makes from the top to the bottom guy.

I’ve got a team that is currently in the 2nd round of the NT. I’ve played 11 of 12 players this season and every guy except one (47) has made over 50 free throws and only one guy has surpassed 100 (115).

Is this as rare as it seems?

sounds like you have a balanced team where the distro is spread fairly equally.

But it really depends on how you build your team, and how you use the talent.. If you have a big lowpost player averaging 20 points a game, he may get to the line 200+ times a season.

If your guards have good speed and ballhandling and you set them to -2 with high distro, they may also be up over 6 FT attempts per game.
If your guard is set to +2 he very well may struggle to get more than 1 FT attempt per game.

I just looked at one of my PG from a few season ago and he shot 432 three's in a season (597 FGA on the year), averaged over 25 points and shot 74 FT's. And I'd guess some of those were late game intentional fouls.
A couple seasons before that I had a big shoot 330 FG's and attempted 192 FT's
