I was flicking through my teams RPI ranking and noticed that the ranking on the RPI page doesn't match the ranking on the team profile. In the list, my team is 24th, and in my team profile it's 25th. The team below me 'shares' the same RPI calculation as me, but is ranked below me. In the team profile, this team goes from 25th to 24th -it's flipped spots with me from the rankings to the team profile. I would expect these two things to either match in both spots, or show each team with the same ranking as a tie.

I don't think this is that big of a deal, and would only rarely matter, potentially for teams on the bubble around the last spot in that are tied technically on RPI and get flip-flopped.

Has this been noticed or explained previously? Are ties in the rank RPI view just shown in alphabetical order, whereas the team overview rank go beyond four decimals to break the tie?

I've noticed HD does this in many areas. Especially with team ratings. Example, on my team profile page, my team ST will be 82. But if I click team ratings and look at the national scale to see where I rank, my team ST will say 83 on that page.

In both cases, the next day will clarify everything. In a game of decimal points, it'll work itself out
