For all the STAT nerds (like me out there) would like to hear your thoughts on the following. I have never focused on fielding stats too much..

I have a pretty good team in on of my progressives and I always look at offense and pitching stats but I know fielding does matter especially range. For my particular team, I am in the bottom 25% for assists, very low on DP, but am in the top 25% in fewest errors (good) and have only 3 (-) plays after ~40 games vs. 15 (+) plays. So if I am interpreting, here is how I see it:

Middle IF are above average (McManua C/A at 2B and Smalley B/A- at SS) should be getting to a lot of balls but making a few errors. One would think a lot of assists. Not seeing that or the errors or more DPs.

SP mostly a mix some have less <1 GB/FB some have 1.25 or greater.

Thoughts? Too much caffeine already today?
