Does anyone know the exact figures for calculating the cost of CVs and HVs? I'm trying to do some budgeting before recruiting starts.

Based on the recruiting history for my current freshman (none of my teams are currently in a recruiting period), I have something like this (these numbers aren't exact):

COST PER DISTANCE

50 MILES = CV $425, HV $210 ($4,625 MAX)

100 MILES = CV $450, HV $230 ($5,050 MAX)

175 MILES = CV $480, HV $250 ($5,480 MAX)

350 MILES = CV $575, HV $305 ($6,675 MAX)

550 MILES = CV $675, HV $350 ($7,675 MAX)

700 MILES = CV $725, HV $400 ($8,725 MAX)

I believe there is a baseline (what a recruit would cost at zero miles). Then it looks like it might be an additional $0.50 per mile for CV and $0.35 per mile for HV. The baseline might be $400 for CV and $190 for a HV? I'm sure some of you old vets know these numbers off the top of your heads, right?

At a distance of 2 miles, it’s 201 and 401.
At 6 miles, it’s 202 and 403.
At 8 miles, it’s 202 and 404.
10 miles is 203 and 405.
15 is 204 and 408.
17 is 205 and 408.
18 is 205 and 409.
21 is 206 and 410.
22 is 207 and 411.
24 is 207 and 412.
27 is 208 and 414.
34 is 210 and 417.

I’m not doing any analysis because I don’t care. But I hope this helps.

isn't this well documented in chap's guide? i was doing the math (on HVs only, rounding for CVs) when i was solo coaching and had to do stuff. i think it was 30 cents. i guarantee this is documented fact though.

all you need is 1 exact figure. its 200 base plus 30 cents or so a mile. get the exact figure for say 500 miles (or any amount) and do 1 calculation, you'll have the answer.

ok ill stop being super lazy.
332 miles - 300 dollars. so 100 for 332. 100/332 is 30.1, round, 30 cents per mile.

cv -
332 miles - 566 dollars. so 166 for 332. thats half, so 50 cents per mile.
