What is the highest team D you recall seeing at either the D2 or D3 levels?

My D2 CSU LA team in Smith had a 81 overall team DE rating at the end of season 111. That's my highest for D2

I hit 82 the following season 112 at CSU Chico in Smith, which was my d2 high. Highest I have seen in D3 was Texas Tyler in Iba by hitmonjake a few seasons back, which was also in the low 80s, but I can't remember the exact number. That team was one of the best I have ever lost to.

Different category, but my D-2 Texas A+M Commerce team averaged a 94 defensive rating by the end of the season with my first 8 players.

That is impressive! I feel like most of the people who have hit the 80 mark had considerable success during those seasons.

I've had 80 a couple times. I had one season where I also had 78 ath to go with my defense. I think it was like 82. I won a couple titles with 80 defense. But I feel it's excessive. And now, I'd trade it for a 75 defense and better ball skills.

Looks like 82 is where my team will end up at. In the CT currently and I don’t think there will be enough growth to hit 83.
