I am in a no-clone, 1920-2019 theme league. I’m a first-time theme league creator.

The waiver wire has real names and is totally filled with clones and illegal players from before 1920. This sucks.

Anybody have suggestions?

Yeah disband all teams, go back to the theme wizard and set things as you want them. Or send a ticket, ask admin what can be done. They will tell you the wizard has limitations. Read what it CAN do, and what it CAN'T do.

I think there is only one waiver wire. It periodically updates. I don't think you can have one that has fictitious names, a limit on seasons or clones.

You do have the option on setting the Waiver Wire to YES or NO in the wizard.

Tarek built this game more than 20 years ago. It hasn't been updated in many years due to funding, and cannot be easily updated due to its ancient format on which it was built. A new main programming is due but when is uncertain. It is what it is...Seble said recently that he will soon introduce an update to make it more mobile friendly, but the workings of the game itself will not change, due to the reasons previously mentioned.

This platform has been sold a few times since its inception, first to FOXSPORTS. We aren't sure what current ownership will commit fund wise. Seble probably isn't at liberty to say.

Temper your expectations.

Next suggestion: don't use the WW in a theme league unless there is a really really good reason to do so.

cant you just have a rule that says if you use the WW your roster still has to follow theme rules? seems like an easy problem to fix.

Yeah but good luck enforcing it. More trouble than it's worth...all or nothing is better. I don't want to babysit. I have enough to do...i would rather be enjoying my time here...

I like the WW cuz all the bad owners make 50 moves a year and end up $40-$50 million less salary than me
