Who makes the better PG? Topic

All other ratings are fairly similar, so I'm not considering them into the equation. I'm looking to choose a backup PG for my D3 school.

Player 1, BH 59, P 71
Player 2, BH 69, P 62

I’d take the passing in triangle and flex, and lean toward the ball handler in motion and fastbreak, for what it’s worth.

Sets play a role, as shoe mentioned. But I would choose based off opponents sets. I'd prefer the ball handler against press. And the passer against zone. Against M2M, I'd have to see the other ratings that you said were fairly similar to make my choice

Any other variables aside, I'd generally rather have the extra passing at the 1 and the extra handles at the 2.

So for your situation I'd take the first player.

This is also what I was always told.

From my experience, all things being equal, I'd rather have a great passer.
