Do you use the "target" position settings when you draft or do you just draft the highest rated player on the board?

This is how I usually do it: I target some up-the-middle guys (C-SS-2B-3B-CF), usually 1-2 of each of those, and some pitchers. Then I leave about 5-6 draft spots for Any (highest rated players).

Pretty much exactly how I do it too

I manually rank the top 50 ish guys and set it to draft by rankings I always draft late first round so It is critical for me to get at least 1 ml player a season.

I do almost the exact same thing. Manually decide who the best players are and put them in order one by one. It can be time consuming, but I have had much better outcomes since using this technique.

I don't think I have ever used the target function. Which means I usually end up with 6-9 of either pitchers or hitters and like 21-24 of the other. Its always a bit of a mess.
