D3 - couple of questions Topic

Ok....so as some of you maybe read from another post, I just signed up again, and got my old gig at Salve Regine (D3 - Crum). I was tinkering around looking at all the new updates / changes. One thing that is strange is that I guess it is already allowing me to create some type of camp. Is having a local camp worth it in D3? Secondly, I got a couple of players i'm looking to dump that the SIM recruited. However, it is not letting me do that. Does that happen at a later point in the pre-season process?

Thanks again.

on thursday when session 2 recruiting opens up, you should be able to cut the sim players then. according to the world schedule (go to schedule -> world schedule), recruiting starts 8am thursday, but the actual rescinding starts 2am thursday. this is probably misleading - those 2am roll-overs rarely happen right at 2, so perhaps by 3:30 or so it will be live. but definitely by 8am when recruiting opens, you should be able to rescind.

Whether it’s efficient to use a camp at D3 depends a lot on location, and on whether you really need to get that 4th level information. It’s complicated. If you’re happy to settle for level 3 and recruit based on that, and especially if you’re in the West, using camps - both the private and the local public camp - is a good way to get a lot of players to level 3, and a fair bit to level 4. To get the highest number to level 4, using camps often doesn’t work well (especially in the crowded east), because you can’t control the states you’re drawing from, so it’s harder to use the FSS and assistant in tandem.
