Defensive replacement question - OF Topic

Does Sparky move OFers around when bringing in a replacement? For example, let's say I have a C/A fielder in CF, a B/D defender in RF and a D/C defender in LF, and an A/A defender on my bench. If I set my LF to be replaced, and my stud bench fielder comes in, will he play LF, or will Sparky move him to CF and move my CF to LF?

This happened in a recent game:
N.Garciaparra enters the game at SS as a defensive replacement.
B.Anderson enters the game at RF as a defensive replacement.
G.Redus enters the game at 1B as a defensive replacement.
D.Evans moves to LF.

Mike Greenwell was in LF, Dwight Evans was in RF.

Brady Anderson replaced Greenwell, playing RF. Evans moved from RF to LF.
