Yup. But the "rights" far outweighed the few "wrongs" he committed while POTUS!
And on this point, no one could have stated it better.

Being Patriotic MEANS being honest with yourself!
That requires self examination of one's own biases and a critical look at the BASIS used for the judgment you used when casting your last vote.
AND it requires speaking UP and OUT publicly in a patriotic effort to inform the less informed of the risk of electing unfit leaders.

TR was (IMO) one of our FINEST Presidents.

I was more talking about his entire career. He was a good President. He had some issues both before and after his Regency.

I would suggest that we ALL apply this one to our decision/choice when we vote for POTUS this year.

The man in office now fails miserably on BOTH counts------------mental acuity AND morals!
And is thus, the menace that TR warns us about.
