Just want to confirm that you can still do a senior redshirt in 3.0 and that they never transfer?

Is it correct that they'll just start the next season at 1 WE?

That’s correct; not all go all the way to one, but many do, and most drop to the point where they will not grow any more next year.

The best way to do it is to leave them off the depth chart so they don’t play at all, then redshirt them at the end of the season, after the championship tournament runs, but before job changes. Then you get to use their senior year for scouting/recruiting resources both years. If you redshirt him at the start, you can’t use the resources.

probably... what would the fix be? that is a general question i suppose, to anyone. IMO you could just not allow redshirting of any player in their final year of eligibility, i personally think its silly you can redshirt a senior to begin with. not sure if other folks would find that appropriate or what.
