This is the worst idea I've heard here possible. I have carried 7 teams most of my career. Specifically ALL 7 1x worlds. I'd argue they should get rid of 2x worlds myself (not saying I actually WANT that at all. I'm just playing devil's advocate here).

Everyone doesn't have the same schedules in our personal lives as you or I do. Not being able to prepare for mid day games in a manner that a coach would want to, is an issue for LOTS of folks here. Due to jobs, lifestyle, etc. Getting rid of 2/3 of all worlds doesn't make any sense in my opinion. And I'm not being aggressive here. Just stating my opinion

I think you guys are harping on it too much. Just an estimate from hearing people on the forums but it seems pretty 50/50 on people who prefer 1x vs 2x. I think there should be a 5/5 split.

i wasnt stating a preference, i personally am a 2/day guy. my personal preference doesn't come into how i view the policy - the idea of removing one or the other is, doesn't matter which way, is very problematic. it would devastate the remaining populace. there are just too many people who greatly prefer one over the other. also, i frankly don't even know what the upside would be? they already did the work to support both, maybe small gains over time if they could simplify, but it seems pretty marginal.

also sorry i never meant to agree with dogs personal preference. only the policy stuff (but he did say clearly he isn't actually suggesting cutting 2/day). that lack of clarity is probably on me. i seem to always get burned when i blanket agree with dogg ;)
