I think I have a good understanding of building a roster for a pitcher’s park. Any tips for hitter’s park?

Yes. Don't do it.

I'm in a hitters park (Wriggly) and I try to ensure all or most of my pitchers are ground ball pitchers. If not, it turns into a home run frenzy against them. As for hitters, I try to have guys with tons power (but who doesn't) and good splits. (once again who doesn't.) The key to my success in a hitters park is the ground ball pitcher.

I play in Cincinnati in both leagues and love it. For hitters, I value power over all, eye a little more than I usually and then splits. Pitching I try and go gb strong as mentioned above.

I also put a big emphasis on fielding, especially my infielders. This does a couple things:
  • Works well with your ground ball pitchers
  • Shortens the game, which gives your opponents less chances to to hit home runs, and also helps out your pitchers.
