How important is Spring Training? Topic

Do you find that your starters need a certain number of at bats? Or do you ML pitchers need a certain number of innings or appearances? Or do you use Spring Training to get top prospects some development?

I try to get my ml players 15-20 ab and my pitchers 6-10 innings each at the beginning of st. That's all. I have seen no effect.

I try to get prospects as many games played and pitched as possible. No idea if it works, but I do it in case it has a marginal benefit. This means I usually set my relievers to a max of 5 pitches.
