I have two.
Marco Gill Managed to pull him out of Connecticut. Blew my mind in recruiting when I saw UConn hadn't gone after him. His defense was a red 64 but he had a green 70 SPD and a black 61 Ath, 83 PE, 65 BH, 61 P, 68 WE. Maybe for an elite program like UConn, that's not great, but at Robert Morris, yeah, we'll take him any day of the week. Marco ended up the Robert Morris career leader in points scored and FG made. He also finished 16th in assists, 2nd in steals, 3rd in FG attempted, 2nd in 3pt attempted, 2nd in 3pt made, 18th in 3pt%, and 12th in FT%.
But my real favorite is
Sean Stover . Another product of Connecticut, Stover came to Moon Township with 85 A, 80 DE, and a green 62 on PE. His BH and P were rather low but they were blue and green as well. I knew he would develop well and be a quality player after a couple seasons. Stover only started 9 games in his first two seasons, but then took the starting SG position in his Jr season. He left Robert Morris #1 in points scored, #7 in steals, #1 in FGA, #1 in FGM, #1 in 3ptA, #1 in 3ptM, #15 in 3pt%. More importantly, he, along with
Kenneth Wilder ,
Cory Dam ,
Jonathan Whitehill , and
Gus Frazier led Robert Morris to their first ever Final Four in season 152.
