I have 3 scholarships open currently and I have 47 attention points available? With the 20 you automatically get and the 20 per opening I should have 80 so how the hell do I only have 47?

Did you join a team that's in RS2? It's possible the team has already signed someone?

Are any of the three openings from players that you recruited last year and cut this season? Might explain some of the discrepancy.

Yes I cut two players the first cycle of rs2 that I recruited last year. In total I had 4 opening (2 seniors and 2 people I cut from last season). I have signed one new player and have 3 openings remaining. It’s now been two cycles though and my attention points haven’t changed

Hey Quick, I think I may have figured the answer, but someone more knowledgeable may have to confirm.

From the HD recruiting guide:
When a player signs, that team’s attention points will be reduced based on the number of Opening Allocation of Attention points still available divided by the # of openings.

So you had 40 AP based on openings (60 total minus the 20 base). You don't get extra resources from the ones you recruited and then cut. So when you signed McEuen you then had three openings left. 40 original AP divided by three openings is rounded to 13. 60 minus 13... bam, 47.

Good explanation. This was pretty much my situation last cycle, and I too went to 47.

go to the 'current attention tab' from recruiting home - you should be able to see some guys with AP on who you didn't expect. you don't ever get 47 ap - its always a multiple of 20.

Eh, not always, especially when dealing with situations where you have more than six open schollies or when you cut players that you signed previously. Been several times that I've had Attention Points that weren't multiples of 20.

See i took some time off and I could have sworn when you cut a guy you recruited you got the attention points but nothing else. If he transferred then you got full resources

What top said is correct. If you cut a sim recruit, you get full resources. If a guy transfers, you get half resources.

Whelp my mistake then, sorry for the confusion guys and I appreciate the clarification. Been several months since I played last and I just got a little confused.
