If you could be born in any time in history / in any civilization in history there are few better places to exist than in 2020 America. Take the Longview of history. Much of history has entailed the suffering of the majority. We are luckier than we could ever realize. Things could be better, yes. But my God things could be so so so so so much worse. As much as people want to speak badly about America and, heck, even badly about this year ...gratitude is still warranted. Immense gratitude.

This is pretty obvious when you look at the facts that hundreds of illegals try to sneak into the Country every day, and that those always whining and crying about how things are and threatening to leave, never do.

Who cares? Sure, we should be grateful for what we have, but one would have to be a fool to use this argument in an attempt to keep us from pushing forward.

America is a great country and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. But it definitely needs to get better...for everyone.

Agreed. Things can always get "better".
Problem is, which "better" do we try to establish? Regarding racism, that's an easy answer, but that's not the case with many other things.

Good thing I love debating policies :) I wish we would do it more often.
