Here is a guy that was drafted as a HS prospect --
Bradford. He got DITR in his first year. Once DITR hit, his draft projections changed to the below.
Dur Sta Control L R Vel GB P1 P2 P3 P4
38 54 93 80 78 57 52 91 93 86 90
As you can see, he under developed in some categories, but over developed in R split.
Here is a guy that was signed as an 18-year old Intl free agent --
Rios. He got DITR in his first year. Once DITR hit, his Intl Projections changed (have to save the email from your inbox to have access to this). After DITR, he had the below projections.
Dur Health Speed Contact Power L R Eye BRunning Range Glove Arm ArmAcc
89 84 72 36 40 44 67 66 89 93 85 95 99
As you can see, he under developed in durability and health by a lot, but that's not a function of DITR, that is a function of the scouting being off. He under developed in most categories except contact and speed, but these were not by much with the exception of power, durability and health.
Both examples were with $20M in scouting. In my opinion, this is about as accurate as $20M scouting is normally so I echo what Pray4Pro stated above --you can trust these 1st year DITR projections as much as you trust regular prospect projections.
