Vegan?? WTF?
The answer is pork ribs, smoked slow and low over pecan (or mesquite IF you like a bit of bitter/musty flavor) then basted with your favorite brown sugar based glaze/BBQ sauce, salt, peppered, served fresh from the smoker with a large bowl of cowboy beans awash with salt pork chunks and bacon pieces.
Add an ear of corn, some applesauce and voila. You can even dust it with Coriander if you choose to Salamander. I'd lay off the Cilantro though, it doesn't blend well with smoked ribs IMO.
